Many of us take great care of what we put in our bodies and consume as food. We’ve even started to gain a better understanding of energy and make sure that we surround ourselves with people who build us up, not tear us down. Have you ever given much thought to the effects of what we listen to? If not, then you really really want to consider reading on to see if you are feeding your auditory system the best noize for your brain.

There is no “Right” Way to Listen to Music

So how do you know if the noise of choice feeds your soul in a good way? Pay attention to your mood and focus. Music has been linked to affecting people’s moods for a very long time. I’ve seen it play out in my own life too. Sometimes when I am in a rush, upbeat music really helps me focus and drive faster. Not necessarily reckless, but definitely more targeted to dip through traffic and maneuver with a bit more finesse than when I listen to talk radio, audibles, or podcasts.
